Addenbrooke's, Cambridge University Hospitals. I do like the idea of having lots of art in hospitals. Addenbrooke's has plenty, including this installation (a view looking up the structure in the upload entitled 'A treat at the Treatment Centre').
Art is therapeutic. Photography, for me, is therapeutic. It takes us into another dimension, away from the usual, the norm. It helps us look at things anew.

St John's College, University of Cambridge. Renovation of the Cripps Building.
The more I look at scaffolding the more I get convinced that among seemingly ordinary builders there must be a few artists. Look closely at the scaffolding: see the designs, the patterns, the colours. It isn't all for "health & safety" regulations, is it? This is the work of an artist. So next time you see apparently ugly pieces of metal covering a building, do pause and appreciate the art!

When I'm feeling blue, I think of you and then I go and take a photograph!

King's College, University of Cambridge. Some kind of divine or spaceish light on the college? No, those vertical streaks are just reflections. This is a pretty decent reflection in a shop window opposite the college.
