Bagnall "Improved Baretto" Class 2'6" gauge 0-6-2T No.2511 of 1934, "Triumph", with spark arrester, in Kemsley Yard on the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway, 02/76. The "Improved Barettos" were a Bagnall development of the Kerr Stuart "Baretto" Class and many parts were interchangeable. When Kerr Stuart went bankrupt in 1930, it's Chief Draughtsman, F H B Harris, was recruited by Bagnall and he took all all his loco plans with him - even though Hunslet had bought Kerr Stuart's goodwill! Scanned photograph taken with a Kowa SET.
