I'm reluctant to ask but has anyone seen advertisements on their Flickr pages? I moved to a free account when Flickr stopped making a paid account different than a free one (other than getting statistics which I don't care about anyway) and I thought my penalty was going to be that I would have to suffer advertisements but there has not been any as yet? I hope I haven't tempted the Flickr folk to start them by 'begging the question?'

Full disclosure .... I am only guessing at the year, make and model ... although it is an 'educated' guess. :) When summer comes (soon please) I will go and see if I can find out more about this derelict.

This building (part of Ryerson University in downtown Toronto) always captures my interest - see first comment box for others of this same feature taken during earlier visits.
I am pleased with the 'out of camera' quality of this new camera of mine (Sony A7II). I was leary of changing over from APS-C but Sony seems to be concentrating their lens development on glass for their full-frame cameras and I have always thought of cameras as accessories to lenses and not vice-versa. I don't like that the camera and the lenses are larger but I do like the quality.
It remains to be seen if the switch to larger and heavier is a wise one. Perhaps not? I am not a 'gearhead' in any case and I am not 'brand loyal' ... if you make reliable and high quality hardware that works in the real world you will get my business. For now ... Sony is doing just that for me. Your mileage may vary. I have used Canon, Fuji, Olympus and Leica over the years.
