The earliest 5-tons were m41s built by IHC. Gasoline powered but ten years later Diesel and Multifuel 5-tons were produced. More 5-tons in my album.

I shot this in 1976 with an "Instamatic" camera. Early (51/52) 5-ton. The M41 had 14x20 tires (single rears) and cargo body with wheelhouses. Superceded by M54 with duals and flat floor body. This truck cost us $10566 when it was new in the early 1950's. Originally produced by International.
