From Alcácer do Sal, we drove to Tróia and boarded a ferryboat called "Pato Real" ("Royal Duck" aka Mallard) to cross the Sado River and get to Setúbal.

The other ferryboat (named "Rola do Mar", which is Portuguese for Turtle Dove) that regularly makes this crossing of the Sado River passed by us on its way from Setúbal do Tróia.

The title of the photo is the translation of the overall meaning of what's written on the side of the ferryboats that connect Setúbal to Tróia. I'm not sure why they chose to put that up there but the truth is that looking around and seeing everyone in masks in these pandemic times, it gave me an unexpected sense of peace and hope - I guess the wind and the murmur of the water also played a (big) part, of course :)

Não sei o que está por trás desta frase que a Atlantic Ferries resolveu estampar nos ferryboats que fazem o percurso Setúbal Tróia, mas ao olhar em volta para todos os passageiros de máscara nesta época de pandemia, "abre a felicidade" deu-me um inesperado sentimento de paz e esperança - claro que o vento e o barulho da água também contribuíram, e muito :)
