These last few days of the year are my favourite week among all others. My Gonks also seem to be relaxing and preparing to the New Year. The family has been growing and this month it went from two to six members :)

Estes últimos dias do ano são a minha semana preferida entre todas as outras. Os meus Gonks também parecem estar a relaxar e a preparar-se para o Ano Novo. A família tem vindo a crescer e este mês passou de dois para seis membros :)

OK, time for a break on the "guided tour" of NYC - because it's that time of the year :)
My favourite time of the holiday season are the year end's festivities, but I would always put up the tree with all the lights and baubles and all those bright trinkets. I think my cat knows this and patiently puts up with me and my 90D and, in this case, with a Gonk with a lit up beard :)

Pronto, vamos lá fazer um intervalo nesta minha "visita guiada" de Nova Iorque - porque chegou aquela época do ano :)
A minha parte preferida desta época são as festividades de fim de ano, mas faria sempre a árvore com todas as luzes e enfeites e todo aquele brilho. Acho que o meu gato sabe disso e é muito paciente comigo e com a minha 90D e, neste caso, até com um Gonk de barbas iluminadas :)

This photo was taken in November of last year. It's a spot I sometimes go to, but where I seldom take my camera with me. It's a very small beach in Estoril (Cascais), called Azarujinha. The last time I posted a photo taken from almost this exact angle was in March 2016. Playing a quick game of Spot the Difference, I'd say the most obvious one is that a palm tree is missing next to the white building. But I'd say that what is most surprising is that the white building is still there at all, give the apparent state of the cliff it's been built on :)

Esta foto foi tirada em Novembro do ano passado. É um lugar onde vou algumas vezes, mas raramente levo a máquina comigo. É uma praia muito pequena no Estoril (Cascais), chamada Azarujinha. A última vez que publiquei uma foto tirada quase deste ângulo exato foi em Março de 2016. Num jogo rápido de tentar encontrar as diferenças, diria que a mais óbvia é que falta uma palmeira junto ao edifício branco. Mas diria que o mais surpreendente é que o edifício branco ainda exista de todo, dado o estado aparente do penhasco sobre o qual foi construído :)
