I still have a lot of pics from the weekend to upload, but I have to interrupt the flow; I got my 50mm/f1.8 Nikkor lens! It's like Christmas...

Such an inexpensive lens, because it's not zoom (I got it for $80), but it's going to be great for portraiture. This is Jen. Jen is not sitting for a portrait here. Jen is wishing I would not test out my lens on her. But I need human subjects, and her eyes look great with the green shirt, so ... sorry, Jen!

Portraits will be even better when the subject is not hostile, I imagine.
