I've been putting together some articles for my blog about tips for shooting with a point-and-shoot, camera-phone and the like … and it occured to me it would help if I actually owned one. Luckily my birthday was yesterday, and my wonderful mother got me the Panasonic LX3.

Here I'm showing off the power of native flash sync at 1/2000th. This was taken at mid-day, an SB-800 tethered to the LX3 by a TTL cable, firing through my Lumiquest softbox. Just another day walking the dog.
