Summertime on the French Riviera in the 1950s. A cheerful blonde lady can be seen walking towards the photographer on the median strip of the seafront boulevard. They're probably German holidaymakers who have travelled to the Côte d'Azur in the Cologne-registered Volkswagen, parked by the curb on the right.
