The eastern shore of Cozumel is the windward, meaning the oceanfront is breezy and the waves are large, making swimming unsafe in most areas. This image was taken at a location a couple miles north of Punta Sur (South Point).
This HDR image was taken with three handheld exposures (-2, 0, 2), processed in Photomatix Pro and Lightroom. The original 2:3 ratio image was cropped to create the panorama.
