This is my student's Melanie Zhu ( in GuanXi- GuiLin) work.

She traveled to Jui Zai Gou in Oct, upon returning from the trip, she spoke to me on the result of the shots, she then email me about 40 shots out of 200 shots.

I pick this to show her & you all how a dull picture , after post processing turn out to be the above result.

This is the image sent by my student in Mein Yang university, Sichuan.

He requested me to show him how to turn the dull weather condition picture into a outstanding image of art.

I then use Picasa to:

Crop
Contrast
Color Correction
Saturation
Tinting
Straighten

After that I use

Corel paintshop Pro Xi to do the following:

Sharpen
Noise reduction
Clonning off the distracting trees
Sharpen
Contrast
Clarify
Clonning of Waves
Resize

That is the image you see here now.

Remember, when you go for trip like these, you have no choice to shoot under whatever weather conditions.

However, the images would need some post processing works.

The post processing work can be a few hours to do so.

When you set the high standard of quality, you need to put in all the effort & time to achieve it.

This garden believes to be near my late mom's natural parents house.

The gate structure is make of wood & the 2 pillars are stone. No nail have been used in the whole construction back in the old days.

I deliberately leave behind the modern structure which is of the British influence at the right bottom conner, so that you can see the difference between the artistic Chinese architecture & the Western architecture.

In my course of advisory function for the project in China, I always recommend that the architect to build something with the Chinese characters rather then the Western characters. As the visitor to China would like to see & been able to appreciate the Chinese art & culture for their trip.

But the officials & businessmen seem don't understand what I am talking about. As they think in one hand I am a foreigner. On the other hand they see me as a Yellow Skin like themselves.

However, people tend to forget that with the education in Britain & traveling & working extensively in the Develop & developing countries, my views are always objectively rather than a personal whim.

Anyway, the modernization of China is causing the alarm on the carbon emission & pollution's. These issue need to tackle fast.

This image was taken in Aba Zhou; The Panda Country. With the recent earthquake; there are over 9X,XXX people dead & over 4XX,XXX people wounded, over 5.X millions people become homeless!!

Estimate losses is $310 Billions!!

My fan's & friend's have been posting the question as on when is the best time to shoot night scene??

It is rather difficult to pin point to the exact time for the shooting. However, I put up this image for the reason of the answer to the question above.

Can you see the harmony of colors of the image??

If you examine carefully; you can see that the architecture is of western; but the Chinese culture are still blended very well in the environment.
