I had an opportunity over the weekend to take photos of four raptors at a rescue organization. I'm starting with photos of the bird that interested me least, the barred owl. It was quite a beautiful bird, but having gotten close shots of this species in the wild, it wasn't the reason I pursued the photo shoot. But this one ended up getting posed in the very best light and position of any I saw, so it did give me some good shots. Others to come later.
