Single shot, handheld, live insect in the field, with Raynox 250. This is a species that commonly allows a close approach. Any dragonfly is more likely to refuse than to allow, but a few are worth trying, and this is one. I was able to photograph it from several angles. I've had limited success with this view, an insect's wings on a live insect, but I keep trying and I think this one ended up with some decent detail.
