I was watching the red tails and this great horned owl came from nowhere, caught a lizard behind the fence, in broad daylight. Must have hungry chicks to feed. I stayed late, and indeed, there are chicks

Not exactly green, but this guy’s making ripples and swimming straight toward me, showing off that unmistakable iguana swagger and long tail. Best viewed large.
