Disclaimer: zoo animal. I don't really like posting shots of animals in zoos, partly because it really feels like "cheating." This is not wildlife photography. At the same time, I have felt a lifelong draw to the fauna of Africa, and I will probably never get there . . . so I at least have the opportunity to study the physical features by seeing the creatures, if only in a zoo.

I'm keeping them in a separate album on my feed and won't be sending most of them out to groups (unless they reach 100 views or 10 faves).

In this instance, the hooves caught my attention, and though I rarely focus on just part of the animal (other than the head), I decided to focus in on them, and the tail ended up being part of the shot too.
