This shot makes me think of Monet. It was a pleasure watching this great blue heron hunting for breakfast in a pond in southern Indiana.

I'm not quite sure what the bird was doing behind that big wing on a branch over a pond in southern Indiana--probably preening--but it gave me a wonderful look at the wing and feathers.
