The bee has several advantages over the bug. The bee is green like the plant; the bug is vivid orange. The bee can fly, and the bee is a mature adult, while the bug is a wingless nymph. But the bug has one advantage: there are lots more bees than assassin bugs, and sooner or later one will make a mistake and become bug food.
