79/100 flowers with creatures

A new species for me. She was flying very busily among these wild peas, apparently laying one egg on each plant, and only landing for a split second on each. It took several minutes of trying before I got a shot. Finally she slowed down a bit in her efforts and that made it easier.

She is larger and greener than sulphurs I know, and her spot pattern is a bit different. My third new butterfly within a week! It would be nice to see the male of this one (plain yellow).

One of my favorite insect shots ever, with every part of the insect showing and in focus--even two waterdrops on that right front leg--yet an unusual angle in which the insect could be dancing on its hind legs. This spot has many dark robber flies about the same size, but this is the first pale one I've seen. I don't know if they're the same species. Diogmites sp.

Handheld, one exposure, but cropped.
