This may be my favorite of the colors I've photographed so far. There is one that is a deeper, darker pink, but so far the blooms are facing away from where I can get them from the front; also a softer pink with a red throat and a white with a red throat. Last year they bloomed only on the far side of the pond, where tall plants obscured them view from the low side of the pond. This year I'm able to get up close.

It was overcast and the insect was small; multiple shots didn't get me one as sharp as I would have liked.
