The Old Man of the Mountain (Hymenoxis grandiflora) is only found at treeline and above, and has extremely hirsute stems and unmistakeable flowers. This particular group of Old Men are growing on the east knoll of Niwot Ridge, with Mt. Audubon (13223 ft.) and Long's Peak (14259 ft.) in the distance.
