Vintage Chinese wrist watch, handwound: Jixing, made by the Jilin Watch Factory (吉林手表厂). Wristshot in front of the Pearl of the Orient TV Tower (东方明珠电视塔) - short also known as "Pearl Tower" or in Chinese 东方明珠塔.
The "Jixing" (吉星) brand means roughly "Lucky Star". The 军用 on the dial means "military use". These watches were issued during the China-Vietnam conflict in 1979 - and also in the "second phase" of this conflict in 1984.
