A wide overview of the St. Ägidius church (St. Ägidius = Saint Giles aka Giles the Hermit) interior in Grafing bei München.
The oldest parts of the church are 11th century foundations of a Romanesque church below the church steeple. That church was burnt by the Swedish in the Thirty Years War and finally destroyed by an earthquake in 1690.
In 1692 the current church building in Baroque style was built on the remaining foundations.
