A recent trip out at the weekend to test out a couple more lenses on my Sony A7ii.... long exposure with an ND10 filter plus Polariser on the end of an adapter on my 1963 Jupiter 12 which has the aperture inside the front of the lens, part way down a slope to the sea, on a tripod trying not to slip down and see what the aperture is without moving when screw the filters back on.....
This is the first try on a digital camera as it doesn't fit a crop sensor camera physically..
Merged a 2 stop over shot with a standard shot to get better exposure on the rocks that were in the shade.

Another weekend another trip out.... this time back to a wee toun named Fairlie along the coast.
Back to the falls in the Southannan Burn.... with the new camera and kit lens to see what they can do.
Stacked 4 photos for this Autumn waterfall scene... even had a Robin appear on the end of the foreground log, but only for a second and my focus was on the very near end of the log....
Also had to hold a tree branch out the way that was above me coming into the shot right in the middle...

A 5 stacked long exposure with my old Russian Industar 69.
As the pipe was so close to me, I had to stack 5 photos to get enough sharpness plus the Industar 69 doesn't have a thread for filters or Lens Hoods, so I read online about someone using a 46mm lens hood, using a dremel/file to clear the threads so it pushed fit onto the outside of the lens. Nearly worked, but slightly too big so drilled and threaded 3 spare small grub screws to stick out and stop it falling past the lens. And, by luck, my 55mm ND filter thread jammed nicely into the end of the lens hood.
