First attempt at a macro with my recently purchased Pentax mx-1, and I'm pretty impressed with the camera given the small sensor. Loving the wide apertures it offers and solid feel in the hand, lens is a cracker.

For a compact it produces quite a pleasing bokeh.

FYI: Date attributed to this shot is off as I've not set it correctly yet.

Loving the wide apertures it offers and solid feel in the hand, lens is a cracker. This snail is only about 5mm in size, just to give you the perspective, image is a 50% crop.

For a compact it produces quite a pleasing bokeh.
