It's 6 am and I'm standing in the Gardon rivier photographing famous Pont du Gard at sunrise.
Enjoy...

The air temperature has snapped colder and the relatively warm waters of Lake Crowley have seemingly become a cold boiling cauldron as if tons of dry ice had been dumped into the water. The low clouds however which had won the night with thick fog are losing rapidly as the newly risen Sun burns them away with its warm rays. This view looks north-northeast across the southeastern rim of the Long Valley Caldera, a super volcano. The caldera, one of the largest on Earth, was formed some 760,000 years ago in an incredible eruption that is difficult to comprehend as a mere human. Glass Mountain, the high point of the volcanic Glass Mountain Ridge on the far side of this view to the left, towers over 4,000 feet above the valley at a height of 11,128 feet.
