DeKalb County erected this courthouse in 1950 using the designs of the firm Sherlock, Smith & Adams. It was expanded in 1974 by Dickenson & Davis and was remodeled in 2000 by Alan L. Williamson & Associates.
This was my 67th and final Alabama county to visit and my 73rd and final Alabama courthouse.
