Trost & Rust was the firm that designed this outstanding stone courthouse in 1902. It was built when Arizona was a Territory on top of a very large hill. I counted exactly 63 steps to the top from the street below. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
They don't use this structure anymore, but I'm so glad to see it standing in such good shape.
