The Anoka County Courthouse was originally built in downtown Anoka in 1960 (the portion of the building visible here on the right). Additions were made to its western and northern elevations in 1966, 1972, 1976. The firm of Patch, Erikson, and Maddison designed the most recent addition in 1982.
