This 1928 courthouse was designed by Eugene John Stern and built by William Peterson. It is located on a lovely square in downtown El Dorado with well kept storefronts and public artwork. The structure was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
The name of El Dorado is pronounced ell-dor-AY-doh.
