The Renaissance Revival, Moore County Courthouse was erected in 1922-23 using the designs of Christopher Gadsen Sayre of Atlanta. The building sits in the center of a roundabout in the middle of the central business district in Carthage. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
