This was my first courthouse to visit in the state of Wyoming.
Wilbur H. Hitchcock designed this courthouse built in 1931-32. The stonework is fitting for a Wyoming Depression-era courthouse.

Built in 1918, this grand old Classical Revival structure stands in the small community of Basin, Wyoming.
Big Horn County is located between Sheridan and Cody in a transportation corridor that many tourists take to reach Yellowstone National Park.

Henry Therkildsen A.I.A. designed this courthouse in 1971. It replaced the county's previous courthouse which stood where this one now does.
Gillette is a big time coal mining town located in the northeastern corner of the state.

Built in 1970, this courthouse sits on a lovely hill in a really neat Western town. For a Modern courthouse I don't find it to be too offensive; however it is sad that the previous 1915 courthouse was a nice building that they tore down to build this.
