The right side of this building with three floors was built in 1905 as the Ayers Hotel. In 1936 when the county's previous 1899 courthouse burned down, the county took over this storefront structure. The middle building was built in 1907 and is incorporated into the courthouse. The portion of the building on the far left is the county's sheriff's department.
Asotin is located to the south of Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington in the southeastern corner of the state.

Though the smaller town of Prosser is the technical county seat of Benton County, this facility in Kennewick serves the more populous eastern side of the county.
Kennewick is located in southeastern Washington State and is one of the three towns collectively referred to as the Tri-Cities of Washington (the other two being Pasco and Richland). It is the largest city in Benton County.

The 1926 Classical Revival Benton County Courthouse in Prosser was designed by the architectural firm of Link & Rasquil. It was constructed by contractors from Ernest White & Co., and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
There is a newer justice center in Kennewick, the larger city in Benton County, that handles more of the county's judicial activities.

This structure was erected in 1940 in Vancouver, Washington, which is located across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. It was designed in Art Deco/Art Modrne style by local architect Day Walter Hilborn, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

W. H. Burrows designed this phenomenal courthouse built in 1887 in the southeastern Washington town of Dayton. It is the state's oldest functioning county courthouse and a National Register of Historic Places Property.
