Calgary is situated on the Bow River in the south of Alberta, in an area of foothills and prairie, approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) east of the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. As of the 2011 census, the City of Calgary had a population of 1,096,833 and a metropolitan population of 1,214,839, making it the largest city in Alberta, and the third-largest municipality and fifth-largest metropolitan area in Canada.

This lovely wood-frame structure was erected in 1908. It has been used as the Canadian Club's Clubhouse, the Camrose Provincial Courthouse, and the Camrose Library. It has been relocated onto the main street in town next door to the Provincial building.

Camrose is a great little eastern Alberta community with approximately 17,000 residents. It is situated to the southeast of Edmonton and is surrounded by Camrose County. It has been given the moniker the Rose City because of all of its community parks and gardens.

The former Provincial Courthouse in Cardston, Alberta was erected in 1907. It is today a museum.
Cardston is a lovely community located in southern Alberta between Fort MacLeod and the state of Montana. It is situated just east of Waterton Lakes National Park.
