The Hillsborough County Superior Courthouse was erected in 1969. It was designed by the firm of Soule Associates, and replaced the county's previous 1905 courthouse, still standing in Manchester. Hillsborough County is unique in the Granite State, in that it has two seats. The other is Nashua.
Hillsborough County has around 407,000 residents and Manchester has around 110,000 residents. They are respectively the most populous county and city in their state.

The Cheshire County Courthouse in historic and quaint Keene, New Hampshire was erected in 1858-59 using the designs of architect James Fox Bryant. In recent years, additions and a newer facility have been constructed to its rear, but the structure is still operated by Cheshire County. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
I believe it to be the oldest, still-functioning, county courthouse in the Granite State.
