Erected in 1849-51, this Greek Revival structure was designed by Daniel Prince. It was expanded with additions in 1874, 1897, and 1903. Architect Jacob Agne, Jr. designed the 1897 expansion and F. W. Kirkland designed the one in 1903. This structure is a contributing property to the Gansevoort–Bellamy Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Rome, New York is a lovely Upstate city located to the northwest of Utica. It is a half-shire town of Oneida County, the primary seat of which is Utica. There are a number of counties in New York with half-shire towns (called dual county seats in other states).

The first Oswego County Courthouse in Pulaski was built in 1817-19. This current structure was erected in 1859, using the Italianate and Greek Revival designs of Zina D. Stevens. It is a contributing property to the Pulaski Village Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Pulaski, New York, pronounced poo-LAS-keye, is a lovely village located to the northeast of Oswego. It serves as a half-shire town of Oswego County, though the primary county seat is Oswego.
