when there's action in the kitchen he's usually not far away.
playing with the flip-out screen of my new camera - milou seems much less put off by the box when it's not in front of my face, yay! plus, it's nice to not have to lie down on the floor to get this angle.
this year I want to put more effort into my weekly milou photos, learning along the way. :-)
We decided last minute to go to the mountains for the weekend with friends, and got a great dose of snow and sunshine.

milou loves loves loves bread. when he first put his nose in the air about 20 meters from this spot by the water, we wondered if he was smelling a beaver, or something else exciting from nature. hahahaha, no, he had found a treasure of discarded bread.
this is way out of focus (accidental motion blur), but it shows monsieur milou being monsieur milou so purely.
my sweetheart had just realized what he was up to and she got there in time to hoosh him away before he considered going on the ice for more treasure (see it in the background?).
he stuffs his face and - if I have enough high value goodies with me - he'll give me his catch so I can check it. That day, we decided he got to snack on what he stuffed in his cheeks since he actually did come away from the source.
these days milou's action shots are mostly him rolling happily. he makes my heart smile.
he had a blast opening up package with (yet another) plushy toy. then he spotted the card and decided it smelled interesting too :-D
