Another photograph where all the details have been lost. The best I can do to date it is guess at the mid - 1980s,but where I have no idea.

... but standing where ? Another shot from the mid - 1980s,taken on the West Highland line,my best guess being Crianlarich,although I could be totally wrong. The loco nearest the camera appears to be 37409.

Approaching the station at Stirling is class 47 no. 47464. This was April 1986,pretty much a week of dull,overcast cloudy weather. The loco,formerly D1587,was withdrawn in October that year.

Waiting departure at Edinburgh Waverley in the summer of 1975 is Deltic 55019. The loco lasted until December 1981,and is now preserved.
