After another long workshop day and a dinner with obstacles the remaining five participants of the workshop went to the Laurenskerk to see a 'different organ concert' (Orgel anders concert). I didn't know about what would be played when I organized the tickets two weeks ago.
It exceeded all my expectations.
Not only that they played one of my most favorite pieces ever (Canto Ostinato by Simeon Ten Holt, originally a concert for four pianos), the dancer was a
Sufi dervish who gave truly stunning, very moving performance.
I loved
every minute of it. The others did too.
The rest of the set is
here.
