This little build depicts a torpedo boat, heavily based on american PT boats used in World War II. Those were small, fast, but fragile vessels, armed with four torpedoes (which are featured in the model) and two machine gun emplacements.
The particular inspiration was manga and anime BLACK LAGOON which features a ragtag band of outlaws using such a torpedo boat to smuggle stuff across seas of Southeast Asia.
