I stumbled across these in Pecos County (Texas) on April 20, 2019. Hope I don't get tripped up on the ID!

Now I'm thinkin' this could be Yellowseed Fiddleleaf (Nama havardii)!
The location (alongside the roadway) in the Big Bend area of Texas, so it could be.
Of course, now I'm thinkin' I shoulda broke out the macro lens.
