Taken at Pratts Wayne Woods Forest Preserve in DuPage County with my new toy the Canon 10-22 superwide. I had a lot of fun with this lens but also a lot of frustration. Photographing truly became a game of add or subtract. I tried to resist the temptation to include more with the ultra wide angle lens but sometimes it simply doesn't want to. Please comment on this critically as this is totally new for me.

This is probably the most photographed spot in Canada, on top of the Rockpile at Moraine Lake. This photo was taken at about 5:30 PM, at a moment when the sun just peeked through the thick clouds that were there all day. The color of the water here is deeper than Lake Louise with a dark blue tone. With the snow peaks in the background, it is really deserving of twin beauties people associate with these two lakes.
