We went to Grand Canyon in 1998 and I still remember the awe I experienced when I first saw such grandeur of nature. The beauty of Grand Canyon was immense beyond words.
This photograph was taken with my old Canon EOS 10S film camera, considered a professional camera at the time, which cost me $500 with the 50mm 1.8 thrown in. Boy did she take good pictures!

My wife in the 90's
This is as low-fi as could be--a dot-matrix black and white scan (no gray scale) of a 4x6 print into a Canon Multipass multifunction printer. Original picture taken with Canon EOS 10S with Kodak Gold 100, 50 mm f/1.8 lens.

Grand Canyon South Rim Morning
I'm off to the west tomorrow, with the first stop being Sin City; and if I survive, will visit the national parks nearby that fortunately reopened despite the government shutdown.
This photo was taken in August 1998 when I first visited the Grand Canyon, with the Canon EOS 10S and 50mm on Kodak Gold 100. Unfortunately this is a scan from 4x6 print. I will try and find the original negative and see if the results will be better.
