Muster Station 1, Majesty of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Port Miami, Florida

We went on a cruise in the Caribbean Seas for Spring Break with the family of my daughter's best friend. After driving two days from Chicago, we were ready to go on with the journey. If there is one place where the journey is as important as the destination, it is on the cruise ship. This starts with the "gathering of troops" at muster stations on Deck 7. We happened to be in Muster Station #1, and we couldn't wait to set sail, as did this girl who was in front of us.

The beautiful ship Norwegian Sky ready to sail at Port Miami.

After boarding our ship, the Majesty of the Seas, the first thing we did was visiting Deck 11 where all the food was. After the buffet with coffee and tea, we were content and happy. Went to the top deck of the ship and just sat there, taking it all in. This will be our home for the next 4 days.

Our ship is nowhere near this beautiful. She is the oldest among the Royal Caribbean fleet, but the service and the crew were second to none. At the time of this photo, the party had already started at the pool with music, booze and dance.
