I tried several takes on this - and this was our pick of the bunch - have adjust levels and crop a little but that's it.

It was a very large tree that had fallen over and was all twisted and gnarled, quite close to the edge of the island.

The tree was well shaded but the trees on the other side of the gap were bathed in light on account of being nearer to the island's edge.
