Our first walkabout - and this caught my eye.

It is a busy shot but I like it...the lopsided sign, the reflection, the crane, the guy looking like he is pushing a car rather than a pram, the couple of the scooter, the chunk missing from the building, the high rise buildings, the building site, the French flag, the noise (oops you can't see that!)....

Stickie was still in danger in Paris - I thought it meant mind the gap as there was one down to the Seine, but babel fish gives it as risk of fall.

This is a replica of the American Statue of Liberty, and it is is near the Grenelle Bridge on the Île des Cygnes, an island in the river Seine. It is 37 feet 9 inches high and was dedicated on November 15, 1889. She looks west towards the Atlantic Ocean and hence her big sister in New York Harbour, which had been erected three years earlier.
