A lovely wood at western end of wastwater, delightful for ambling and exploring.

To be fair there are warnings at either end, but it is probably one of the hardest flatish walks you can do, on account of the boulder scrambling, two chaps I met from the other direction did say they were having a little difficult with the term "path" :-)

You are warned....

But it is fun, if you like horizontal scrambling.
