The terracotta internal ceiling over the entrance to our new hotel - the Hotel Jupiter in Praia da Rocha.

I tried not to think about how it stayed up :-)

After the gentleness of Tavira, the high rise hotels and brashness of Praia da Rocha had us (perhaps not) jokingly ask if we could go back to Tavira.

But the beach was superb and there were quieter parts when you looked for them - as long as you avoided the Irish Pub, The Red Lion....
