In celebration of 100 years of Bromley bus garage an open and running day took place with many preserved vehicles in service. RM1804 804 DYE performed two complete rounders on route 61 between Chislehurst and Bromley North and one shorter trip from Chislehurst to Bromley Common and return. We were booked our break at the stand in Crown Lane Spur, Bromley Common but this was closed off due to roadworks so the break was taken instead at Petts Wood station. Here RM1804 departs from the West Approach stand at Petts Wood station running dead to Bromley Common to take up the 1354 service to Chislehurst 'Gordon Arms'. A superb busy day with the bus carrying a total of 524 passengers plus five dogs! Saturday 14th September 2024. DSCN60329.
