I do have a soft spot for the AN's as I spent most of my teen years on one going to and from school and then college but of course that was a Kentish Bus example operating out of their North Kent garage at Northfleet. So to see a wonderfully restored AN in the original livery carried by the type was a delight to behold.

Preserved London Country AN262 KPJ 262W is seen on Eastbourne Road (A22), Newchappel whilst recreating route 409 as part of the 2015 East Grinstead 'Country Bus Rallies' running day. Sunday 12th April 2015.

On Wednesday 2nd September 2015 a new operator named County Connect started working in North West Kent. Their primary daily service is school route 221 from Wrotham to Bennett Memorial School in Tunbridge Wells via Shipbourne and return but during the day (when the vehicle is spare) they then operate a number of shoppers services to Bluewater.

On Monday route 702 operates between Tunbridge Wells and Bluewater, on Wednesday route 708 operates from Ightham to Bluewater via Meopham, on Thursday route 415 operates from West Kingsdown to Gravesend and on Friday route 712 operates from Tunbridge Wells to Bluewater.

In mid-June 2021 four Enviro 400 MMCs from Ware in Hertfordshire were loaned to Maidstone the affected vehicles were: 6487 [YY16 YKW], 6488 [YY16 YKF], 6489 [YY16 YKZ] & 6493 [YY16 YLD]. All four were returned to Hertfordshire in convoy on Monday 30th August 2021.

Delivered on-loan to ARRIVA Kent & Surrey at the start of July, this Wrightbus Streetdeck is to be based at Gillingham for a year on a trial period.

Having made an appearance in Maidstone High Street on Monday 4th July and various sporadic sightings in and around the Medway Towns on test it eventually made an appearance in passenger service on Tuesday 19th July.

On its first day in passenger service (and the hottest day of the year so far!) ARRIVA Kent & Surrey 6801 SL16 YPH is seen at Bligh Way Shops on Earl Estate whilst working route 700. Tuesday 19th July 2016.
