London United VLE24 PA04 CYG is seen at Hyde Park Corner whilst working route 9. Monday 7th March 2011.

These vehicles were replaced on route 9 by the NBfL on the 26th October 2013 and have been cascaded to other routes enabling the withdrawal of older vehicles.

West Kent Buses NUW 638Y 'EMILY' tops Gorse Hill, West Kingsdown whilst returning empty to base after performing the morning school route 2. Friday 8th April 2011

New to London Transport as T638 in November 1982 this vehicle was originally allocated to Plumstead before moving to Romford, North Street, Bow, Norwood, Brixton and New Cross before being stored in July 1993 at Fulwell! It was bought by Merseybus the following month converted to single door and was given the fleet number of 2638. It became part of ARRIVA Merseyside upon privatisation and was bought by Glenvalee Transport in July 2001. It then ventured back south in January 2004 being bought initially by West Kent Buses then eleven months later to Poynters, Wye. It later returned to West Kent Buses where it worked until being replaced by newer stock in 2011. It was sold for scrap to Scrapco Metal Recycling in March 2012.
